HONGKONG Travel Diary : Day1

HONGKONG Travel Diary : Day1

July 8, 2014 I went to hongkong with my beautiful girlfriends for three days. I and my fitness partner Camille is our first travel abroad together. We were so excited that eventhough we just slept two hours before our flight, we didn’t even feel sleepy at all. What we did inside the plane was take pictures, talking about the places we will be going for our shoot, choosing which restaurant to visit that are nice and unique while the other three of our companions slept the whole three hour flight!

Upon touchdown, we went straight to the hotel to check-in and change outfit for our afternoon ocean park adventure. Before heading to ocean park, we stopped by the famous HongKong Michelin Star restaurant Tim Ho Wan for lunch. The line was crazy! We waited for two hours just to have a table so we could try their famous pork buns.

20140717-222705-80825295.jpgIt was worth the wait! As you can see in the photos, it’s mouth watering, right? My tummy is already grumbling right now just by looking at these.
Lesson learned: I should never look at my food shots late at night. Haha

Now to Ocean Park was bright and sunny day in beautiful HongKong. When we arrived, unfortunately the HEAVY rain poured!!!!!!! But nothing can stop us! We bought their plastic raincoat that is so expensive for just a very thin (just like the cheap plastic used for trashcan) plastic raincoat. Nevertheless, we braved the rain and went around to see the aquarium. After a few minutes, luckily the rain stopped. Then the five little children went out to play!:)

DAY 2: BALI TEMPLE HOPPING

DAY 2: BALI TEMPLE HOPPING

On our second day in Bali, we joined a tour that will bring us to their attractions. Everywhere you go, along the streets you will see temples and those carved sculptures that they are famous of. As I have observed, most of the people in this place are very religious. Almost every store have their place for worship. They put flowers, incense and pray.

First stop of our temple hopping is BATUAN TEMPLE

This coffee called Luwak is very interesting. The bean that is used is from a cat animal poop that will be processed into a coffee. This is one of Bali’s famous and specialty product.
